Went to the 2012 Tractor Extravaganza at the Vanderburgh 4-H Center at Evansville, Indiana yesterday (Sat. June 9, 2012). Lots of Lawn and Garden tractors and items there. Also about 100 full size tractors and one that I'd call in between. This is a very low rider "B". It has a B tranny, C final drives, disc brakes, a heck of a rider cart behind it and one nice paint job. This would be perfect for Steve in NJ.

WOW !! That's really smooth. I love it. That should just about cause all the correct police to die from heart failure. Haven't you ever wanted to put all your left over parts to good use? I doubt if too many of us have this much talent or talent to pull this off. Great job !!!

That is realy cool. Axle seals in final drives would have to be real good to keep the oil inside and not have it run all over the brakes!

Ya don't need oil in the final drives if you pack the bearings with grease and put a little extra in for the gears. I doubt this rig will be out plowing 24-7 anytime soon.

I didn't notice any brakes. The axle housings are upside down with no linkage for brakes. But then it has as much brakes ase most Allis's on our farm. JCinPA

Look at the first picture. There is one pedal hooked to a chrome covered master cylinder. It has hydraulic operated brakes.

I've posted pictures from Madison SD show at least a couple times. Those I posted last August are in the thread at: http://www.allischalmers.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=128088&KW=gerald+low&PID=1052489&title=low-rider-b-question#1052489" rel="nofollow - http://www.allischalmers.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=128088&KW=gerald+low&PID=1052489&title=low-rider-b-question#1052489

By the way the post shown by the search does not include the pictures, until you click on "show the post" which shows the whole thread.

OHKen will love this thread. Curious to see what he finally comes up with. Gittin it to go 55 and street legal for cruise nights may be asking too much. Chain driving the finals 1 to 1 may get you someplace in a hurry.

It's the same one with 4'' of mud on it. We can't control the weather. But it's clean now and ready for a parade tomorrow. The wheels are for a car 24 x 9.5. I got a good buy on them. I have a early HEMI that needs to be in a tractor. Michael Welch
