Our renters crop seems to be doing great, heads have missed the last two light frosts and still working out, greened up after the last couple of light rains to boot, may make50- 60 b/acre plus straw for bales.

Alot of the winter wheat around here winter killed or blew out of the ground as it was so dry all winter. Many are replanting with spring.

Wheat around here isnt much good, there is the odd field thats decent, but most of the others were torn up or given a shot of round up.

i would say the wheat around here in central KS is comparable to what you described in Missouri..   we could sure use a drink  to finish out though... it has been missing us to the east...
