I meddle in Antique pulling with my B as well as the usually farm usage.

I pull in the 0-2500 and 2500-3000 lb class with rules that you must use the stock bolt on weights (No suitcase weights)

Currently with rear and front wheel weights (Plus me) I come in at 2636 lbs. I was thinking about removing the rear weights and putting fluid in the tires to bring me just under 2500. I then have my B and CA weights I can bolt on for the next class (Which is a back breaking pain)

Any suggestions?

Without any fluid and a set of engine side weights our B weighs in at about 2,240. Our tractor has the 5 bolt C type rear wheels, and we have used a second set of wheel centers as wheel weights. I don't know if you are just not allowed suitcase weights, or if you are only allowed proper factory weights, but we also use 25lb. & 50lb. barbell lifting weights bolted to the brackets on the final drives. Also we have 2 old WC engine flywheels that have the pilot bearing in them that bolt on to those same brackets. Each flywheel weighs 65lb. and they are authentic A-C parts! We also pull in the 2,500 and 3,000 classes. My 10 year old son won his first pull on this tractor Saturday!

They only allow factory weights that came with the tractor at that time.

The B weights have a notch in them, maybe I will see if I can make a bracket that slides in there to allow me to bolt on the CA weights. I tried long threaded bolts but I can't get them to line up good.

Since there are only 2 or 3 tractors in my class I need to be able to switch weights fast.

I am checking today to see what fluid options are available locally.
