The gas tank for my Gleaner K got all gummed up and rusted, which clogged the fuel line, settling bulb, etc. Fortunately it didn't get to the fuel pump or carb. This led us to running it off an aux. tank for awhile, but finally decided it was time to get this issue solved.

Got the tank taken off, and the line and bulb unclogged and in good shape. Wondering what the best, most economical way to get the gunk out of the tank would be.

Thanks

If you have a local Radiator shop, quite a few radiator shops offer fuel tank repairs also. Might wanna give your local Radiator man a try and see. Then you don't have to mess around with acetone's and etchings or whatever to clean the tank out... HTH

Hi I'm Bob I had a similar problem on my d12 something that can be done at home is pour a cup of practice gravel in the tank and shake it around it worked for me so I'd try that

My D10 tank was so bad, gravel, chains, MEK, Acetone etc did not work.
I cut a large section of the bottom of the tank out, had the inside sand blasted, then I welded the piece back in place. Then coated the inside.
