I'm needing some sickle sections for a 72. Does anyone know where to get them? I wouldn't mind having a extra sickle either. Thanks!

I don't know anything about A-C combines but I have a couple of NOS complete cutter bars that I have been told are from older small pull type A-C combines.
I would have to do a litle "hunting" to find 'em but, as I recall, one is about 5' and the other about 6' long.
They have an unusual knife head with a pin about 3/4" in dia. and maybe 2" long.
Is that anything like what you're looking for?
BTW, Knives (sections) can be bought at tractor supply and, as I recall Ford and some other knives have the same dimensions and hole spacings. That is, if they are like the regular mower knive.
Here is a place to get sections at a decent price, if you need lots of them.

AFAIK, AGCO still has them but at a salty price.  I have yet to find an aftermarket section that fits without milling the backside off 1/8" or so.  If someone knows where to find them with a perfect fit please advise.  Otherwise, I do have a thicker milled back to fit sections.
