I am curious to know where the taillight wire was originally ran on a CA. We are about ready to put the platform back on, and I would like to get it where it needs to be so I don't need to take the platform back off.

Thanks,

JarrodACFan

The light Wire comes out the bottom of the instrument panel under the strip screwed to the top of the transmition. Then it cuts across to the left side trhought a hole in the support and up throught the fender support.

Dad's 51 CA#669 never had a transmission cover for the taillight wire that I know of. He bought it new in 1951

That is the location of the picture on your hard drive. We can't see it. If you don't know how to post it, send it to me in an email. My email is listed in my profile. Charlie

Your correct no wire cover on a CA. Just a C and B., here is a picture. You notice I have no wire to the left side.  only to the right since I had a combo work tail light I took the left tail light off. Its easy to route the wire with the platform on since its not attached anyplace.

Okay, I see the groove where it needs to be ran, thanks. If it would have been a snake, it would have bit me!
