Always interesting to see what the reserve is on some auctions. Heavy centers but short air stack. 2 plow set-up. Wonder if it has the cast iron parts?

Also has an Athens plow drawbar attached and made into a trailer hitch.
Has a distributer installed. Dont think that was original either, but was probably changed years ago.

This one falls into the serial #'s that would have come with factory steel wheels and some cast parts in place of regular steel due to wartime shortages. The heavy rear centers are for steel wheels.

I can't believe a running C ( wartime or not ) can't even bring $500. That's pretty sad.

If one was trying to restore this to original it would require a lot of parts. Wrong manifold, air cleaner looks to have been modified, no batt box, and has a whine in the trans, who knows what else you'll find. I can't count the number of times I've been told a machine runs good and found iti to be the opposite. If I were local and needed parts I would not go over $500.

I'm guessing if you wanted the heavy centers and the double plow set-up it would run you close to $500 for that alone.
