Could somebody help me out.. still has the 252 rockwell in it.  I dont have an owner's manual..obviously.    Thanks, -Wes

I run 40:1 in mine with the 297 in it.

25 to 1  was orginal mix ratio! And we  run all ours at 25 to 1! And keep a spare plug with us. 32 to 1 is ok and oil is a lot better today! So other mix ratios are possible and you can adjust carburator for them. But I prefer extra lubrication even with todays oils.

Thanks guys..I had it sitting in the barn for a couple years and started it the other day on a really rich mix..smoked a LOT!  and I couldn't remember what it should be.  I've got pieces of a service manual in a binder..and that wasn't much help.   -Wes
