well this had to follow me home today. it's not polically correct, but it is one fine running tractor. 1942 B with some modifications. I guess I had some room in the shed & the wife forced me to buy it. It's prettier than my first wife.

That is one fine looking B! Are the wide fenders made from the standard B fenders, or are they the ones for the steel wheel B?

I wonder if your wife knows my JoAnna? She would be telling me to buy that beauty to whether we'd have any room for it or not! That B is clean as a pin man! Very nice indeed!  Gotta' love them B's....

rf, the loader isn't holding anything up. It's my bale moving tractor & I just moved it out of the shed to put the B in behind it.

Bruce for some reason that B looks familiar - it wasn't at the auction last year was it?  Seems like I have seen the black stripes before.
cheers,

I like it! Really like it with the cream wheels on it.
Notice those rims are loop connection type. Look similar to Avery rims.
It being a 1942 model, I could only guess that there was steel there before the rubber rims were swapped on for comfort. Also noticed the air cleaner is not tall for a steel-wheel model, but doesn't mean it hasn't been changed. I would think that tall air cleaner intake would easily snag on tree limbs and such, making it necessary to replace with a shorter one. Could have even been hacksawed off.
No matter what has been done to it, it really looks nice. I would be proud to have it, and I would make a little shed space for it. Congratulations sir on a fine unit.

I didn't do it! It was a short, fat, tall, skinny guy that looked like me!
