Hi the 1cyl marshals you light a glo wike and crank or a 12 gage powder shot
from 1954 on Lanz Bulldogs were elc start the starter with glow plug then swung back and forwad aganst compresion until srart
The Lanz Bulldogs the old ones ues a blow torch heat up the hot bowl and insert the steering wheel swing back on compresion it will start

Good looking machines - no mosquitos flying around the Fowler.  A good fogging will get them every time! :)  Orangeman

Great videos. The different starting procedures are very interesting. Never seen anything like them.
