One of the gays at work got to talking and was wondering is there a differance in the side of the M and L? We know that some parts are interchagable.

Fairly sure an L is a wider version of the M.

Are you talking combines or crawlers?

The L Crawler is much bigger a 6 cylinder, vs a 4 in the M.

L is bigger. I have an M, and I only live about 30 miles from you.

The L crawler is huge, it has an A tractor engine in it with two extra cylinders, 6 in all. I know someone that owns one.

We had both at the same time, L has about 25% more capacity than an M, depends a bit on engine options, Trev.

Isn't an L one walker width wider than an M.

I think they have the same number of walkers but the M's were narrower.I've heard warnings about getting some replacements from the bone yard to make sure it's the right one.

I thought L's have 5 walkers and the M's had 4.  Ryan

x2 on what Ryan said. But yes the L is bigger than the M. A lot of parts interchange but some definately don't.

L-L2-L3 walkers (5 total) are 1/2 inch narrower than M-M2-M3 walkers (4 total) ...like 10 1/2"  versus  11 ".  Most all pulleys, hubs, sprockets, belts are the same.
