Can anyone fill me in on why my AC 185 tractor jumps out of 3rd gear?

it has been used enough in that gear under load to cause this issue, it is not uncommon on the older allis tractors to present this problem because that is the most common plow gear in the old girls,

but it alo happens in the other brands as well

shift forks could be worn but replacing those generaly wont fix the problem. Syncro is prolly worn not good news but fact of life with older tractors.
