On the D14, the power director dip stick is a bolt.  What is the proper way to check the fluid level?  Should I be screwing the bolt into the seated position or checking the fluid level with the bolt threads just touching the housing?  Thanks.

threaded all the way in. When you  remove the bolt (plug) you can read the level on the dip stick. Bob
