Wondering who has done this conversion on there d15 and how difficult it may be and if the kit comes with instructions. Just bout an old Massey Round bailer and needing 2 outlets for the hydrauilcs. Thanks for any help.

It might be difficult to run a round baler with a D-15. The MF baler I had needed 54 hp min to run.
I assume you mean 1 double acting remote.
Hook the inlet of the valve to the existing remote. Run the return to the reservoir. When the tractor is in the lift position, the remotes can be used.

don't think it wil be a problem ,as the previous owner ran it with a MF35. Said it was a lil underpowered, but it worked, and i am pretty sure i have more power that that. Thanks for the info, so have you did this conversion??

You are better off getting all you need from surplus center,get Prince valves and you can stack them.

Two important words 'pressure' and 'flow'. If the D-15 is like the D-14, it's a high pressure,low flow pump. About 3500#.Way too much for 'modern' hydraulic 'things'.
Hopefully a D-15er will respond with the numbers. You do NOT want to be nearby when a hose/fitting breaks or damage the bailer hydraulics.

Most hydraulic valves can be adjusted for pressure.

Installed a double acting valve on WD45 years ago in the 80`s. Mounted new valve beside single hyd outlet. Plugged line into single outlet then into double acting valve. Added a line on the return side of the double acting valve to the return line from traction booster valve.
Added quick connect fittings to new hyd valve to connect the two lines from the double acting cylinder. When you need hyd`s just push the hyd lever on tractor to the top then use the hand lever on the double acting valve. Worked very well for lifting a cultivator or disc.

ok, I have installed the kit but, my 3 point hitch wil not stay up. Any tips? My Mecahnic says its because the valve that came with the kit was an open center valve, and I nee a closed center valve. Is this true? I can get the parts to convert it to closed center, but it will cost another 50 bucks or so. I really lik the kit, but want it to work right. I think it should come with a closed valve if thats what it need to be. Thanks for any help.
