I am sure it might be off topic, but I think it needs to be put out there. The riff that Deutz caused 25+ yrs ago. Still goes on today. It isn't uncommon for a foreign company to buy an American company with the intent on closing out the competition. It leaves a sour taste in ones mouth, especially if you are on the receiving end of it. In 2008 the factory that I worked at for 13 yrs was closed by our English owners. Bolton Metals bought the Cerro Metal factory in Bellefonte, Pa in 2007. The Bellefonte facility made brass products from 1915 to it closed in 2008. No matter how much you wish to have the orginal company back, it isnt going to happen. The only way to stop these types of transactions is to stop the foreign companies from coming over here and pulling this type of stuff. We need to use our heads a little more when it comes to managing our factories. The foreign buyout happens when moey issues arise with the companies. Lately overseas groups have the money that we seem to lack or want to invest in an American company. Once they (the foreign co) have their foot in the door we are screwed!  I am sorry about the rant or if I make someone mad, but I felt I needed to say something after reading some of the older post from this past week.   Ron
