The 7060 was availible with dual speed PTO. To change it all you have to do is take the 6 bolts out turn the shaft around and put them back in. Il have to look to be sure but i think the 540 is the outside bolts and the 1000 is the inside bolts. It will only fit one way as the bolts are just enough offset that you cant have the 540 shaft out and use the 1000 bolts.

Low hours and power shift, should be a sweet tractor. I would be about 99% sure that it would not be 540 PTO only; more than likely it has both and the present owner doesn't know it. Very likely it'll have the stadium light package and the remote mirrors, both nice options, Darrel

I have a 7060 black belly that has 540 PTO, it has 3 sets of remotes (you can add an extra set from a salvage tractor without too much trouble). Be sure to feel how the the clutch and lift cables work. Small things, but they are $1-200 each. If its a powershift, try stomping down the brakes while in gear, especially in 5,6 and the lower gears in the low side. I've heard that they cause problems sometimes. The powershift is handy for some jobs, but I like the PD better for row crop use. Keep in mind that rubber is really expensive, so tires should be a big consideration as well. Good luck!
