Kohler CH 20 always back fires when I shut it off. Does not matter if I let idle for a minute or shut off 1/2 or full throttle. The valve on the carburetor does click when I turn the key on and off.
Do I need a colder spark plug? It has the same plug number as the original.

Have a kohler command that does that too, most of the time enough time to get off the machine and scare the crap out of you.
Has the same plugs as original so maybe coil has enough energy for one more spark?
