Picked up car (Explorer) from body shop Mon Afternoon as Deer damage all fixed, had it all last week. Looks nice wife drove home and then last Night eating dinner my upper plate split, Again, same spot as last, eating corn on cob with Chicken Rice and Veges. So recover my Immediate plate first issued. Still fits fine after cleaned and soaked awhile, cleaned broken one then sat down with some plans for camper work. Wife pipes up Car doing weird things, alarm on Radio screen and did not remember what it said.
So out to garage, no alarm no message. Go out this morning car grunted to start, radio had “Secured tk preserve power” message on screen, battery or connections so I start readying tk get to it and she drives off to work, 6am!
Gather tools, get work clothes on, wait to 7:20 go to the work lot, use my battery tester, already down to 10.6v, pull Battery head to parts store. Three year and two months old open cell. 65-2 common battery, $200. Take to car make certain connections clean and install. All back good memories all intact.
Call Dentist at 8:30, open slot at Noon to take plate in, suspect need make New Molding as something wrong with permanent Plate. Just great as likely another $2500
