My wife was diagnosed with cancer about two weeks ago, she has surgery in the morning to hopefully remove it, then resting and healing a month or so before beginning a couple of months of radiation and treatment. Please pray for her to have the strength to go through this and for her surgeon to have all the skill and knowledge needed to guide her hands to do what is needed. My wife is a strong fighter, she says God, faith, and family will prevail over this. | Praying for you. You are not alone, MY wife just had surgery last week after doing 6 rounds of chemo before surgery. Hope they can get it all and get it stopped. You can get through this its just a little setback. |

Thoughts and prayers for you, your wife and family and her health care team. In late June 2017, I was diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer (squamous cell carcinoma). When they said stage 4, I thought the end was near. I went through chemo and 35 sessions of radiation. The day I "rang the bell", I was completely wiped out. I have had clean, cancer free scans since and enjoying life with a completely different outlook. There is life at the end of the tunnel, but it is not an easy journey. My family (especially grandkids) is the only thing that kept me going. Sorry to ramble on, but we all think the worst when we hear the "C" word. There are a lot of us survivors out there to disprove this. Keep the faith and God bless!

While I do feel for you and your family and am certainly sending my thoughts and prayers for her, I must also say that from your words about her, she is in a good place and is prepared for her fight with her cancer. A positive attitude and faith in God will be hers to lean on in the dark and it also sounds like she has a pretty good husband to be there both with and for her. Keep the faith Sir. She will be fine no matter how this turns out and I am thinking she may be a scrapper. Best of luck and my prayers. Dan |
