What are the part numbers for these in Ecklin or Blue Streak or another good brand? What number plugs are you using, it has Champion N5C in it now.. I am away from farm, but wanted to take some with me next trip. Thanks, Tracy ------------- No greater gift than healthy grandkids! |

It hardly matters what box you buy, the parts inside will most likely all be made at the same place. Champion plugs are about the worst quality plugs available today. ------------- If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere. Real pullers don't have speed limits. most of the BLUE STREAK stuff was made in Poland or Japan ... Assume it still is.... Not the same as China stuff.. ------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s. |

I went to the farm early. Tried to get plugs in town, no one had any. No help at parts stores. Filed the points and sanded them. Not a hat spark at plugs like I wanted after Cleaning rotarty button and cap. Weak to me. Sprayed choke cleaner into intake, never a pop at all. Just had put carb back on, floods again. When I had carb apart, cheched float and shutoff height. Both were good. Only ting I notice is float needle seems to want to hang in opening. Polished it best I could, still wants to hang. This is the most aggravating carb on any of the tractors I have, it is a Zenith. Before the alternator -regulator failure, it started and ran fine , but carb flooding could occassionaly happen. Always shut off fuel under tank when not running it. Going to try to put a cut off right before carb bowl. About at wits end with this one. What do you think? how about the COIL ?? when they get old and weak, you can get a Minimal Spark Condition... ------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s. |

My float and needle does not have the little keeper spring. It has the viaton tip on it. Have not checked the coil. Have to order everything. Thanks, Tracy ------------- No greater gift than healthy grandkids! |
