I have neighbor who has a brand new in the crate windrow pickup attachment (I have no idea which style but it's been stored inside), a used windrow chute and an All Crop 66 combine that he wants to sell to me. The combine has sat outside for years so more than likely its a parts machine for mine. I really have no use for either of the attachments other than they would look nice on my combine. The combine is worth scrap price but what's the value on attachments like this? The chute I would guess is worth $50-$100?? But the still in the crate pickup I have no clue, is there any added value in the fact that its still in the crate? I just want to make him a fair offer. Thanks

I think maybe a couple of hundred bucks is fair. I don't think nib really adds any extra value. You don't know if some of the mounting brackets where in another box that had long disappeared

Seconding what dr p says. If all the brackets, pulleys, etc. are there, that would be the first requirement for it to be worth much, I'd think. The pickups at the Arland Lepper auction didn't sell for much but I didn't see that they had all the necessary parts included.

I would think someone who really had a specific use for a pickup head might pay a couple hundred for a nice complete setup to put on their combine. You might have to wait a year or two to find that person at that price, though.
