New member here trying to get a tractor ready to square bale some hay. I have a series 4 D17 and am in need of Agco Part# 70229579 plug. I found the part number from a post by forum member Saubz back in 2020. His post showed a picture of where the plug goes and even included part number. I just am not having luck finding one online. does anyone have a recommendation? Thank you, Adam

i dont think there are any threads in that hole ?? Seems like it is similar to a FREEZE PLUG that you pound in a hole to seal it up ??? You should be able to use a GENERIC plug if you measure the ID of the hole..does it look something like this ??? you would need to check the RIGHT DIAMETER...  ------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s. |

| The plug keeps it from leaking hydraulic oil. There are no threads in there and I am starting to think the answer of finding a generic plug like a freeze plug and driving it in seems to be the fix. I think Napa has something I can use. |

DORMAN part numbers available at NAPA.... just match the HOLE SIZE ------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s. |
