That's odd, it has the early style steps and throttle next to dash, sn 1574. I thought the digital dash was at the end of the run.

well I own the only known existing complete ag data dash, and the complete dash includes the touch screen for the lights etc, there wasn't a rotary style switch, and I do remember an Ag data dash on ebay a while ago, and I am assuming that's the dash in that tractor, but doubtful anything actually works because the sensors are not on the tractor, or the wiring harness.

I have an 8050 FWA, and I have an Agdata dash, but the dash isn't from that 8050, mine is an 84 the dash was removed when Allis Chalmers retrofitted the early models, and luckily a mechanic that removed it, saved it and as luck would have it I knew him and he told me about it one day, his wife wanted him to get rid of it, this was in the late 90's, so he had it for quite a while. They were all supposed to be destroyed according to Allis, there may be some others that survived, but I doubt it seeing how they have never turned up. There was that 1 that turned up on Ebay may years ago, and I am assuming that's the one in that tractor. My dash was removed from what was once Daun equipment, which eventually became D&D, they worked a lot with Allis Chalmers seeing they were only 90 miles apart, they had 8070 FWA long before the 8070 FWA was available to the public, so I think it may be doubtful that many 8000 tractors with that dash would have made it very many miles away from West Allis, before the engineers wanted it removed.

So the idea for the Agri-Data dash was that the operator would select a function by pushing specific dash pad/button for a digital display of that function?

If so, that is an incredibly small digital display window. No gauges for quick glance. Only a small window display of a single item? Not good.

If I remember correctly, the display could be setup to scroll the data across.

Yep it would scroll data on numerous selected icons. I have 2 operator's manuals for them. Ive been meaning to make a video of each page. They are the only 2 manuals ive ever seen. I know where a 8050 fwd is with a complete dash.

I think the concept was much like the tattletale on Gleaner combines, if anything was wrong the dash would alert you, so you didn't need to monitor various functions , but I don't know that as fact
