When the butcher knew you , the early super markets , hours they were open ,
Friday night or Saturday trips depending if farm or city stores
I worked for National Tea Co while in High School started at 15 doing carry out and stocking shelves . The days of S&H green stamps as a bonus

every August mom would take us 4 kids to SEARS to get new cloths for the following school year... they better last all year.
