What is the difference between the ones with the square hood and the ones with the angled sides? What year would serial number 1263 be? Was ac a factory option? What color was the factory cab or was it dependant on the year or was there more than one type of factory cab? And were any particular years better than others?

I have no idea what you're talking about in regards to the hoods. 210's are different that 220's but all 220's are the same.   s/n 1263 is a 1969 if it is a 220.   Early factory cabs with the double door were cream colored. Very late models like 1972 had the same cab as a 200 and they were orange.  Both cabs could be had with air cond as an option.    All years are good.

I took a closer look at the picture of the hood and someone just removed the rear angled portion. It really throws the look of the tractor off. It also has the battery box located on the left frame rail in front of the steps instead of tucked under the cab. Is that factory?

220 cab? Could be factory, but more than likely it has a “Year-a-Round” aftermarket type?? If so, year-a-round should be same AC orange with white colored highlights (window trim, doors, roof, etc).
Year-a-round manufactured all season cabs for most brand of tractors during 1960-70s. Usually they painted their cabs to match tractor’s color(AC orange, IH red, Oliver green, etc…).

I think this tractor has the cream colored factory cab that has been painted orange at some point. Is has the allis-chalmers decal across the back of the cab above the window and Dutch doors. It also comes with all the maintenance records from the original owner who had it from new until his death in around 2017. It was apparently hooked to a cultivator it's entire life until it was bought be the current owners about 8 years ago. It has around 6000 hours on it now. Any idea what it is worth?
