I am in need of a serviceable brake drum for an Allis-Chalmers Model CA tractor, this is the brake drum that is an integral part of the hand clutch assembly. AGCO lists the part number as: 70225605
|

You can get them new from Agco for over $400. I have rebuilt them. Whee! I never thought of sleeving; machine shop rates would probably end up being upwards of just purchasing a new part from AGCO  Is it feasible to build it up with weld or is that just a dumb idea?
