I don't have a parts manual handy; would anyone happen to have a part number for a 24V starter for an HD11E?

Thanks,

Scott

Is a Basic 40MT Delco, or should be, just in 24v 11t bendix.

From experience with an AC Forty Five grader  an M 42 with the right pinion will work

From discussion in other places 40 MT is the old model no longer supported, or at least very poorly supported. The model 42 MT is current and a direct replacement. But placement of solenoid and nose cone and direction of power all need to specific for your application.

Nose cone on any of the later starters is irrelevant, all are mounted with Six or Five Allen Screws and are repositionable as needed.  Is ONE slight Offset on the Basic Front Motor Housing, one has No Offset to Solenoid the other is one half hole distance off that.  Regardless, the Current style is not even a 42MT but a Gear Reducted 1/3 size to these old monsters 39MT.  ANY HD Truck parts outfit will have.

Available 12 or 24v
