I understand these heads can adjust up to 2"? So that brings it down to 34". 330's are darn tough to find around me, but there's a 336 close by. This is on a K2.

If your hybrids have the ear up off the ground aways, it would work as you can carry the head raised up a bit. You are bending the stalk inward, which is better than outwards. Certainly not ideal.  As far as the 2 inch thing.....a 4-38 head can be made 36 or 40. If it is truly 36 inches, the sheetmetal bolts should be in the middle set of holes.  It might be a 3-38 head ?? set to 36 meaning that's it.

Thanks for the input. Good point about raising up the header!

I was wrong. You are bending the stalk outwards. Not a good thing.

i have done it with a two row head and its hard. With a three row head, the discrepancy is 18 inches. That won't work. Maybe if you only use two rows but i would keep looking
