Hi, new to this forum but been using its info for years. I have a 1943 allis C that came with a wide front end, and from what I understood they only came narrow from factory unless ordered with a loader. However I see so many with a wide front. How come? And should I use the wide or a narrow front end I have?

The C was available with either a narrow or wide front end, although there seem to be a lot more narrow.

The C did not have a frame and putting a loader on them put a lot of presssure on the torque tube.

Okay, thank you, seen very conflicting opinions and just wanted a solid answer.

Also, many of the wide front C are using a B front end.  Farmer done, not factory.

During the 10 year production run about 600 Cs were also built with single front tires.
