Seems a almost NATIONWIDE outage of Phone Voice and Internet service effected
My internet was problematic , then came back but slow , but lost voice service since Thursday on landline - and low speed on internet .
Then using FB it's screwed up on posting or reading posts also ,
Evidently CenturyLink fiber optics connections has a problem in several states and loss of voice service in others - but somehow connected in a overall problem

On Brightspeed here, Same difference as is a spin off of CenturyLink/CenturyTel Down almost two days then back S L O O W!

Supposed to be a big ass solar storm going on now or soon. Wonder if that’s what’s happening?

Conked out here at 3/00 am this morn. 8:30 tonight mama saw a glow in the wiring entanglement and started pulling wires and sticking them back, damned if it ain't worked since. That is with T mobile.

Finally sent a tech out yesterday to check things . ( someone who actually fixed things )
Came in after checking a few things , said 2 problems - one inside and another outside on their PED about 1/2 mile up road .
Now have 87M sped something I have not had for couple years , he said someone had PED wired wrong and in fact they disconnected my voice line figuring no one had phones out here just mobile service .
Then said his next service was across street in central exchange building as router and modem there were bad from power outage the other day
Seems something took down a power pole along frontage road and disrupted both high voltage power grid but fiber optics feeds . Went by area few hours after power came back and several crews working on site - Large wooden pole was in splinters and wires hanging from top 15 foot of pole yet - pole looked like twisted tooth pick splintered .

We got rid of Centurytel when they became Brightspeed. Their service was just getting worse and worse. Couple of new providers came into our neighborhood. No problems now. Good riddance!
