I had a ‘79 Z28, with the 350 & 4sp on the floor. Definitely a young man’s car, by the time I was thirty I couldn’t last 20 minutes sitting in it. No matter what adjustments I made to the seat, lower lumbar aggravation. ------------- I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science. |

I had a 74 with a strong 350 and a Muncie 4 speed loved it and I had a very nice 79 Z28 350 with an automatic. I much prefer the 67 to the 69. Same with chevelle I prefer the 66/67 to the later ones. Love them all. |

| Lars was there something wrong with the seat? I can still drive mine all day. I have replaced the seats but only to get some side support and better seat belts. We do some track days with these old cars. |

Never could figure the issue, it was traded in for a Dodge Grand Caravan. With our 2nd child on the way, it was for the Z to go. ------------- I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science. |

This is mine and I've kept it since 4/26/1976:  Still has original 340 engine, four speed transmission, and 3.23 Sure Grip rear axle. One of these days I'll get to it..... Had a 1970 Camaro Z-28 but didn't have the original 350/350 engine. Astro Blue color car with white stripes. I put a pair of new quarters on it and sold the car with a fresh 383 engine. Kind of liked the car but too cramped for a family vehicle, and too expensive to keep as a hobby car in those days with employment being spotty at the time.
