Friday noon after three months and two days in hospitals sand two different rehabs Im home! been working on my bad arm so I can run to Hydraulics .. still walking with the walker and scooting around with a wheelchair and doing therapy at home I don’t know how long it’ll take till I can free walk or drive the tractor but I’ll keep at it. We’re putting up a new 60 x 64 open truss pole barn 20 feet high And purchase the New Holland bale stacker 1037 that is only loaded three loads in it’s whole life. We also purchased a Tele handler. JLJ Cummins powered. To stack 20 feet high and to load the trucks while using a grapple, we got at auction new for 700 bucks. We have a few flat fails where we can use the stacker, but will never get away from the kickers and the wagons on f the steep hills. Thanks for all the kind thoughts and prayers from the last three months. It’s all well appreciated.. I feel like I got a second chance at life! captain Dana

I'm new to the forum so not entirely familiar with your situation, but from personal experience nothing makes a person appreciate life like a good chance at losing the one you have(ruptured aneurysm for me). I have been a little over fifteen years thankful for every sunrise and day that follows it. I hope things keep getting better for you.

Glad to hear you made it back home, best wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery. Remember to take time to be thankful for being able to come home and for those helping out. It can be easy to become frustrated when healing doesn't go as fast as we want but keep your head up and stay positive, we're all cheering for you.

After our visit I looked for you at the rehab but you had already left. It’s frustrating to have to take a step back and have limitations to work through. Keep your chin up and you will get there. Goodluck

The one thing I will say, is that these life-threatening events make you look at things a lot different. What we once took for granted, is now appreciated in a whole new way.
Don't give up! Things will get better.

Congrats on getting home. My wife had a stroke in December, her left side was basicly non fuctioning. She got home 3 weeks later, needed help with everything. Today she safely gets around the house. Her leg is coming along faster than her arm. My mother had a stroke when I was 14, I've seen to much of this. Hang in there, it's a long road back but it can be done. Faith, hard work and persistence will be worth in in the end.
