Bringing home an Allis 720 with loader and backhoe. It hasn't run in over a decade. I know there will be plenty to do, hoses, probably repacking cylinders, rebuilding valves and who knows what else. I'm going to pull the plugs, oil the cylinders and turn the engine by hand a few times before I even try for the starter. Remove cooling shrouds and clean all the junk out. Generally take it real easy on everything as I'm bringing it around. I figured maybe engage the PTO clutches and rotate the engine by hand and see how that feels. Hydrostatic transmission and I'm not familiar with them really. I'm going to get all the manuals I can but if there's something I should be wary of as I go I'd sure like to know. I don't want to mess up.

Hopefully they drained the gas tank and carb.

A Gas/Ethanol mix will create a massive amount of rust.

I leaned that the hard way on a brand new 11 HP Engine.
