Looking for suggestions on removing spark plugs from a 1997 mountaineer 5.0 with cast iron heads. Tried to remove two of them and wasn't even able to turn them any, did crack the porcelain on one of them. Letting them soak with PB blaster now, all that I have at the moment. Suggestions???

Have the engine WARM. Always warm.

heat and soak with oil is about the best you can do... If all else fails, i would try an impact.. 1000 small WACKS is better than a constant  PULL trying to get something loose.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

If it has those taper seat spark plugs, they are very common to seize in the heads. Not one of FORDs better ideas (like most of FORDs wacked ideas). I give them a "bump" with an impact to loosen them.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

Pretty much all been said above, heat is essential. If just having the engine hot doesn't help, heat each one smoking hot with a blowtorch & douse with PB or similar.

Impact if you can get in there, if you break the plug off after heat/soak with the impact then it was going to break anyway.

Soaked them, warmed engine up,  3/8 impact on lowest setting, after a bit of hammering, they turned loose. Thanks
