Was working in the woodlot for about an hour and shut the tractor off for about 15 minutes. Upon return, it wouldn't start and was badly flooded.

I pulled the air cleaner hose and gas was running out.... a few taps on the bowl must of released the stuck float (I assume) as the gas stopped and after a minute or so it fired right up and ran well.... until I approached the carb with the rubber air cleaner hose and would immediately start to die.  back away the hose and runs perfect.    Hose and air cleaner not restricted but that bit of restriction will not let it run.

Obvious to me the carb has a blocked air mixture problem now even though it runs great even under load UNLESS the air is restricted even a small amount...even my hand close to the air inlet causes it?

also look at the choke plate and throttle plate to see they are still attached to the lever rod, and not dangling in the throat.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.
