We just acquired an AC Power Unit D17, Sn: PU 17 301811. There is lots of information on this and other sites about the D17 Tractor, but very little on their Power Unit version. This came out of a Crane. I looked through Serial Numbers reference guides and don't see anything for this serial number. It's complete and runs, but will need new radiator hoses, electric fuel pump, etc. Looking for any information on these: Operators or Service Manuals, how to look for parts for this Power Unit without sorting through hundreds of posts about the D17 Tractors. Just get a D17 parts book. ------------- If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere. Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

AGCO does have a parts catalog just for the G-226 on their website: https://parts.agcocorp.com" rel="nofollow - https://parts.agcocorp.com Like PaulB said, it's pretty much the same as a D17 engine. Anything that would be unique to a power unit (I don't know for sure, but maybe camshaft, fuel pump, radiator, hoses etc.) probably isn't available since all of the aftermarket parts volume is in the D17 engine/tractor. You can likely find what you need to keep it working though. something like this is a good option... Stop by NAPA or other Auto Store and ask. ------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s. |
