I need to change the fan belt on a WD45.  If I take the one bolt out that holds the bracket for the crankshaft (the one you crank the engine to start)....will it give me enough room to get the belt over the bottom pulley?

The only thing you need to do to change the fan belt is remove the lower radiator hose.

Buy a new piece of hose and cut the old on off. You'll be glad you did.

x3! And unless you know the coolant has been changed, it probably hasn't been done for 50 years so might as well do that too.
