You might have been right the first time.  Normally I launch at about 3200 RPM keeping one hand on the wheel and one on the throttle, front end always comes up and before it settles I can the throttle. Not this time, panicked maybe? | Nearly 40 years ago, I had a slow 3rd/7th made for the 220 that we campaigned at the time. So, we had 6th for the 11K class, slow 7th/5 1/2 gear for the 13K class and regular 5th for the 15K class. The trouble for the onlookers was when I was in slow 7th they thought I was in 5th and couldn't figure out why I was beating them !! |
