Would a 185 bell housing pattern match a 262 cu. in. from a Gleaner? The 185 engine is seized and needs to be replaced. Thanks to those 'in the know'. ------------- Currently- WD,WC,3WF's,2 D14's B. Previously- I 600,TL745,200,FL9,FR12,H3,816 LBH. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal! |

| It has been a very long time since I was up inside the engine bay on a Gleaner C-2 or model F. I think if the engine is equipped with a cast iron tail shaft housing, I'd say no. I just don't remember that backplate as being tractor friendly. If the combine engine backplate has those large 3/4" holes for the tractor side frames, then yes, I think it can be made work. |
