I have seen a few of those at farm sales but never knew what they were for. Dad bought a new WD45 and snap coupler plow when I was a little kid so I never seen 1 used. I have 1 hanging on my shed wall, not for sale.

Several years back I recall seeing a clevis display at Hutch. This style of clevis was among them. The impression I had, was that it was an Allis clevis. The couple I have, do have the remnants of orange paint on them, which I know doesn't confirm they are Allis, but satisfies me. Perhaps someone else that remembers that display, or the person that put it on, could weigh in. Dave

Years ago, some guys used a clevis with a 1/2 twist when pulling a disk or drawbar plow.
------------- I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

I couldn’t find the one I was thinking about but I did find one on a drawbar for a snap coupler bell? Maybe an adapter to put a WC plow on a wd/Wd45?
