I recently bought a Hd 5 crawler. I'm looking for supplier of clutch parts a yoke # 053925.
Looking for information on removing the yoke.
Can it be done by leaving the housing in place or would you have to remove the part from the crawler?

Remove bell housing , remove full clutch assembly , disassemble on bench and find the parts you need . I ended up turning the brass sleeve myself to replace worn one in my machine . Also check pins on the over-center linkages and the arms themselves for wear

The clutch friction material also needs to be checked and rivets holding it , the disc if it has dampening springs also need checking . I replaced a couple discs ad last time I went to bi-metallic disc . Same as the HD11 steering clutches I used rather than fiber discs .
It may be necessary also to check flywheel and friction face of clutch to see if they need resurfacing .
Replace the bearing in the crankshaft with new sealed bearing , making sure crankshaft wick fitting is plugged . Original pilot bearing was lubed from drilled hole in crank, by using sealed bearing no oil is introduced into clutch housing area .
