1957 A-C D-17 antique puller. 3.5 to 5.0 MPH classes. 4000 thru 5500 lbs. Bare weight is 3650-3700 lbs. Custom transmission gears. Nearly 400 cubes. 14.9 x 38 F-151 machine cut tires. Wheel bars and weights racks and enough weights to make 5500 lbs. All A-C weights of the same style so they hang from the front, back or middle as needed. I've pulled this tractor 40 years. I think it's time to retire. Asking 8K.  319-360-4788.

I'm not intending to be snarky, although for $8K I'd expect something to do better than Granpa MPH classes.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

Maybe not intending, but you are snarky. I don't really care what you think. I know what it would cost someone to duplicate it and if no one is interested, so be it. I had a WD with a custom made 8-speed tranny and a far lesser engine and got 6K out of it 3 or maybe 4 years ago now.

Honestly, I'm a greenhorn on this forum & have kept my nose out many times out of respect for the fact you've been around here a long while but I really can't any more. PaulB do you ever have anything constructive to say here?

Of all the folks who post here, you're the only name I can recall making multiple posts that come across as snarky at very best, and mostly downright rude.

EDITED to add-: Actually I will retract the majority of that statement & apologize to you Paul since I have looked back at your posts & you do in fact quite regularly contribute useful information and advice.
I do see the posts I was thinking of that came across to me as rude but they're not as prolific compared to your constructive posts as I remembered. Suppose it's just the negative posts tend to stick in my mind more than the rest.

Either way, not deleting my original reply because I made a mistake and not going to hide that. And I apologize for engaging keyboard before brain!

Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, whether they like someone else's or not is optional, however they MUST accept that other people can have a differing opinion on any given subject. I have probably more experience tractor pulling than most anyone still pulling, I've been in pulling continuously since the late 60's and have pulled with about every class of tractor there is. With that I developed my personal opinions in those many decades and will voice them when I feel necessary. No one has to agree.
I feel that having a grampa gear puller is like going to a dragstrip to see top fuel dragsters and funny cars and instead, they're having Zimmer Frame races. The only thing more boring than a class of slow tractors is watching Golf. Why anyone can enjoy chasing a little ball around a cowpasture is beyond me.
I've had a few CAs that would easily pull at over 10MPH and didn't have 8k invested in any of them, maybe 2 together.
