Thanks Joe and others. Yes, God sure created a wonderful world for us; especially if we are lucky enough to live in the Good Old USA. No cancer in family. I credit my wife of 71 years, Barbara, a very good cook; we quit beef, hamburger and donuts decades ago. Fruits, vegetables, chicken, little pork and occasional fish from son in Lafayette, IN, provides salmon and walleye. Enjoyed a wonderful career; grew up on half section farm in central Kansas, Kansas State engineer grad, three years Navy on destroyer, ~ 20 years GE, ~ 20 years Indliana University, ~ 20 years retired in GA. near three sons and their families (and special friends like Joe Murphy). Herb, congrats on the BDay!! Love the detail on what it takes to make it happen. Most important your better half and all the great decisions you have made (i.e. food choices and those you spend time with). What a life to shared with loved ones! That is quite special!
Thank you for your service!! It is very much appreciated!
Enjoy all that you have at your side. It is.... an example of you! In that.... enjoy your impact and legacy!

Late to the party as usual for me, but please accept a belated very happy birthday from another Dan & good health for many more to ya sir.
I'm in the UK so have no concept of the freedom you enjoy over there, more's the shame, but I will also thank you for your service since you're one of the few surviving who helped give a measure of freedom to the whole of the world.
Thanks & many happy returns. Dan
