Looking for some help with mounting my voltage regulator for a D10 series III. I want to put it in the correct location. From the old pictures I viewed, it looks like it mounts below the generator. Is there a special bracket that I need to mount it? Would someone be willing to share some pictures of their D10 series III and voltage regulator? You are correct, there is a bracket the bolt on with the generator bracket. I don't have a picture handy at the moment. I had bent up a few of them to have on hand a while back, I don't know if I have any left or not. ------------- If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere. I know you've already got the part. I bought a regulator that fits on the CA generator (79004807) exactly in the place of the cutout. It works great although it is larger and does limit the belt adjustment range of motion slightly. I resolved that by changing the belt length. So far, so good. ------------- 1952 CA13092 |

I would be willing to mount it on the generator but unfortunately it doesn't have any holes on the generator to mount a regulator. Therefore I would like to find the original bracket and make it correct.
