Where’s the best place to get a new rear window? The discbine decided I needed a new one.

Was still available from agco but see it says on back order. It was pricey but came with hing riveted on.

They make a hell of a noise and a big mess when they shatter. It's been 10 years ago but we went through Agco.

We've replaced a couple rear windows in our 8000 series tractors.  A few years ago, the cheapest price for the glass only (we installed the old hinge/etc) was by picking it up from the All States Ag Parts warehouse in Lake Mills, IA but now it looks like their price has doubled.  It gets expensive to ship a window.  Might check with an A&I dealer.

AGCO part 71502807(rear glass for 8000 series cab).
Do an online search for “71502807 glass” & see price range from $250-700. Add delivery &40-100? to lower 250 price ranges.

Happened once, may happen again? Here’s a safer, more economical solution ~ Lexan. Lexan will haze/scratch/yellow over years, but can offer some more operator protection from “mower missiles.”
If that interest you, this link offers some valuable insights about it.

A good glass shop can make that glass panel from  A-1 laminate glass pretty reasonable. Laminate, (unlike tempered) will not "shatter" into a million pieces with impact.

If the glass is flat, make a pattern of the size you want and try it in and out of the gasket to make sure it fits. They can cut it from the pattern.

A&I does offer them. It would need to come from a dealer and freight will factor into the price.
