Does anyone know if a wide swing draw bar can be put on a tractor that has a three-point hitch? I am wondering if one could be put on my 8050 and still leave the two-point arms in position. I know I can’t use the three-point I just wanna know, if there’s anything that would get in the way drawbar brackets .

On an 8000?  No, you can't have both.

Well, I know you would have to leave the three-point up. I know you couldn’t use it, but is there anything underneath where the white swing would bolt to that three-point? Parts would interfere with?

I think if you dropped off the entire bail assembly and removed the rub blocks from each draft arm and left the draft arms fully UP, it might work.

That’s kind of what I was thinking. The thought is to put a hydraulic cylinder on the drawbar. That way I could push/pull the Planter hitch off to each side, depending if I’m going north or south through the field.

My landlord wants to cover crops and I’m trying to figure out a way to get my soybean row close to last year‘s Corn stock row. I make 3 Complete passes around the field and then I start working my way from one side to the other.

If the draft arms are in the way, they drop off very easy compared to older A-C models. I can't imagine the torsion bar would be in the way.
