| Where can I get new packing for the load adjustment screw on my D17 tractor? The screw leaks a little and will not stay tight, I tried tightening the nut, but still the same problem. |

i would guess you carb model is a 773 on the D17 .... There are "small kits" (gaskets) and "larger kits" that would contain more brass or steel parts.... i would THINK that anything you needed would be in that kit.. ------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s. |

Well, if its a Marvel, it should be a TSX-773,869 , or 871. I would check to make sure its the correct Carb first. Sometimes over the years, Tractors get different Carbs put on them unless its been in the family since day one and you know it hasn't been changed. I carry some in stock. Not included in the kits ?? Man, somebody screwed up there... So its similar to the fuel bowl shutoff valve on the gas tank.... Maybe wrap a few rows of teflon floss around the shaft and reinstall the nut ?? ------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s. |
