I rebuilt the carb on my d14 and now it won't idle lower than about 700. Any idea what is going on? The idle screw doesn't seem to make a difference.

does the carburetor arm come all the way back AGAINST the screw... or is the arm dragging the side of the engine block ?

Did you bottom out the adjusting screws and back out 1.5 turns to start ?

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Throttle plate disc not centered in the bore if what you say is true. Loosen low idle speed screw three turns, loosen two screws holding the throttle plate, force the throttle closed to center the disc and re-tighten the screws.
