Anybody know what the capacity (in gallons) is of the hydraulic oil reservoir on a 417 loader? Mine has a leak and I was considering mounting an external reservoir, just not sure what capacity.

I wonder if the caswell epoxy liner would help fix your leak?  I've used it in a few gas tanks with great results.  It's expensive, but the oldest tank I've got is 6 or 7 years old without failure.  You'd have to take the loader tower off and get it setup to flip around making sure everything got coated.
