I heard a lot of stories from that man on the AM/FM in my dad’s square body Chevy pickups. And you always had to love the way he signed off “ And now you know; the; r—-rest; of the story. This is Paul Harvey. Good day”. The man always sounded sincere. With a forever, calming voice, and millions of listeners, he had a way of cutting through it all, so it seemed he was only talking to you. My dad passed away last Thanksgiving. We've got a framed print of it in our living room. When I told Danielle that's what I wanted, she looked at me funny and said "why? You're never into that stuff".
